Who we are

YOC (Your Own Class) is run by Sheth Saga Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. This policy covers yourownclass.com, shethsaga.com and yocshiksha.com.

What we collect

• When you fill an inquiry form: your name, mobile number, your message (if you write one), who you are (student or parent, institute, teacher or agent) and the course you asked about.
• With every form: the page you sent it from, the website language and the date and time.
• Also with every form: how you reached the website (for example a Facebook ad or a Google search) and the random visitor number Google Analytics gave your browser. This lets us see which pages led to your inquiry. The visitor number is not your name or mobile number.
• Like every website, our server records your IP address and browser details in its logs, to keep the site safe and working.
• Visit data from Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (see "Cookies and analytics" below).

How we use it

• To call or message you about your inquiry, our courses and admission.
• To understand how people use the website, so we can improve it.
• To measure our advertising on Facebook and Instagram.

We do not sell your information to anyone.

Where it is kept and who sees it

Form details are stored on our own server, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). A copy is kept in a Google Sheet that only the YOC team can open.

Only the YOC team uses your details. We share them only with these service providers, who keep them for us, or when the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to see how visitors use the website: pages visited, time on the site, device and browser, approximate location (city level) and how you reached us. Google Analytics uses cookies for this. Google processes this data; see how Google uses data from sites that use its services: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. To stop Google Analytics, install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook) to measure our ads. It tells Meta when a page is visited, when a form is sent and when the phone or email link is tapped. Meta's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.

Google Analytics also sees how the inquiry form is used: when it is opened, which fields were filled in and whether it was sent. It never sees what you typed. Your name, mobile number and message are never sent to Google Analytics or Meta.

The website also saves your language choice in your browser, so you do not have to choose it again.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.

How long we keep it

We keep your inquiry for as long as we need it to help you and follow up. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or tell us to stop contacting you. Write to yrownclass@gmail.com or call +91 63565 55400. We will reply as soon as we can.

Children

Many of our students are under 18. If you are under 18, please ask your parent or guardian to fill the form, or fill it with their permission.

Keeping it safe

The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS). Only authorised YOC staff can open the inquiries.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
